All Carbon, Sub-Micron Performance
The
"all-carbon" CERAMIKX KX Filter combines the fine particulate reduction of
a traditional ceramic filter with the chlorine taste and odor reduction of
activated carbon. The 0.2 nominal micron KX CERAMIKX filter
meets NSF/ANSI Standard 53 criteria for particulate removal and turbidity
reduction, and the control of cysts including Cryptosporidium & Giardia.
CERAMIKX KX Filters also meet NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for Chlorine taste and
odor @ 95%, with teh SC Model providing >1,000 gallons and the ST >2,000
Gallons.
KX CERAMIKX Filters are offered in
two fully cleanable models. A 1.85" OD Model SC with a BST screw-in
end cap and a 2.5" OD Model ST with standard end caps designed to fit most
standard 10" filter housings. Both of these filters can be easily
cleaned with "just the wipe of a sponge". |
