
VIQUA Sterilight "Silver Plus" (SSM) Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection Systems
The new VIQUA (R-Can) Sterilight Silver™ "PLUS" line incorporates a UV intensity monitor in a modular line of ultraviolet disinfection systems that can be used in a myriad of applications where water quality is unknown and/or a monitoring system is required. The small SSM-14 and SSM-17 systems are ideally suited for point-of-use filtration, RO pre or post disinfection, while the larger SSM-24 through SSM-39 systems can be used on a point-of-entry (whole home) system disinfection the water for an entire home or cottage. Using Sterilume™-EX coated low pressure germicidal UV lamps, these systems provide an economical way of treating water requiring a 99.99% reduction in bacteria and viruses.
These systems are manufactured from 304 stainless steel and incorporate our new Silver™ "PLUS" controller providing constant output current and a universal power input (100-240V./50-60Hz.), as well as visually displaying % UV output, remaining lamp life and total days of operation. Coupled with a true 254nm UV intensity monitor, these systems are able to continuously monitor the system and warn you of any changes in water quality or if the water becomes unsafe to drink. The system also comes with a powered solenoid output that allows you to hook a normally closed solenoid valve (sold separately) directly into the controller. Additionally, an optional Y-cable is available that provides a 4-20mA output for a physical connection to a remote monitoring system. Systems are packaged in a new water-tight case and come fully CSA and CE compliant. |
