Options and Accessories Available (order separately)

AMI's SY Series Seawater RO Systems are available with a wide variety of optional add-on equipment. All assemblies include hardware and mounting equipment for easy upgrade to your new or existing system installation.

Wall Mount Filter Cartridges

Includes mounting bracket and Isolation Valves to close the line when changing the filter cartridge.

Pretreatment Options Available:

Oil/Water Separators protects the membranes from oily or polluted water sources.
Plankton Filters trap suspended solids larger than 100 micron, thus providing additional protection for the system’s prefilters, which extend the prefilter element life.
Commercial prefilters provide longer intervals between necessary filter cleaning and replacement.

Post-treatment Options Available:

pH Neutralizing Filters raise the pH of the RO fresh water. Filters are self-limiting to correct pH only excessive enough to reach a non-aggressive equilibrium.

Media Filters

AMI Media filters feature fully automatic backwash for easy, trouble free maintenance.

Multi-Media Filter for sediment filtration to approximately 10 microns.

Water Quality Monitors

Pre-packaged wall-mountable water quality monitoring controls allow you to monitor the quality of the incoming feed or RO product water. Assembly includes the monitor, enclosure and sensor.

Ultraviolet (UV) Systems

Add an ultraviolet water sterilizer for a 99.9% reduction of bacteria and viruses in the product water.

Tank Pressure Controls

To automatically turn the RO system on or off with the permeate storage tank level. For use with a pressurized storage tank (tank sold separately).

Tank Level Controls

This Dual Float Assembly turns system on or off automatically according to the water level in an atmospheric storage tank. (tank sold separately).

Prefilter Pressure Gauge

To allow for monitoring of the in and out pressure of the prefilter in order to indicate when the cartridge needs to be changed. Assembly includes pressure gauge and fittings.

Freshwater Flush Kit

The fresh water flush greatly prolongs the life of the membranes by rinsing them with fresh water at the touch of a button or automatically every seven days.

Available with or without booster pump.

Flowmeters

Install flowmeter assembly to monitor the system flows. Includes mounting bracket and fittings for connection of system tubing.

Crank Case Oil

This specially formulated hydraulic lubricant will prevent wear and oxidation.

Remote Control Panel

The Touch Pad Remote Control unit allow for remote starting and stopping of the watermaker and will also indicate a system alarm.

Based on 35,000 ppm seawater at 77°F (25°C). Recovery in the range of 10-15%.
Operating pressure 800-1000 psi (57-71 kg/cm²).

Our Watermaker Seawater RO Systems are available in a variety of voltages. Please select the desired voltage code from the table below. The three-digit code will be added to the end of the Seawater RO System Model number. Example: SY-12514-116 = 120v/1ph/60Hz
