Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Driving water sustainability for our future

We strive to be a responsible corporate citizen in everything that we do. We are committed to using resources more efficiently, seek to exceed our customer requirements and provide continuous improvement to our processes. By providing innovative water treatment solutions and value to our customers and their communities we enhance the quality of life of current and future generations. We are equally committed to setting high standards of business conduct while delivering planet friendly water treatment solutions.

We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards and we expect our business partners to do the same.

We have always believed Applied Membranes, Inc. can – and should – have a positive impact on the communities we serve. One project and one customer at a time.

As we have outgrown five manufacturing facilities, completed many benchmark projects, and gained a solid reputation of quality, service, and reliability within the water filtration industry, so too has our commitment to create global social impact.

With over 8 million membrane elements rolled and twenty thousand water treatment system installations, we have the real-world experience needed to ensure the success of any project. Committed to continual improvement, we treat every challenge as a learning experience and an opportunity for improvement. Our product designs and material selection reflect decades of knowledge gained where it most counts: from actual operation and performance in the field.

AMI's state of the art ISO 9001:2015 and NSF certified facility features the most sophisticated manufacturing and testing equipment technologies in the industry. This includes automation, comprehensive performance testing and analytical tools. All manufacturing equipment is subjected to thorough qualification tests and is maintained and calibrated regularly to ensure consistent and reliable products.

Water pollution and a shortage of fresh water is a serious problem

According to the 2008 World Health Organization report, around 10% of the total burden of disease worldwide could be prevented by improvements related to drinking-water, sanitation, hygiene and water resource management. For millions of people around the globe, water, sanitation and hygiene conditions have improved. Still, in 2015, 663 million people are using unsafe drinking water.

Climate change brings added risks. When water becomes scarce because of drought, the poorest children and families are most likely to resort to unsafe water sources, making them more vulnerable to diseases.

Applied Membranes believes that improving personal, domestic and community hygiene will improve the quality of life of millions of individuals. We’ve been partnering with companies and municipalities to better manage water resources to reduce the transmission of vector-borne diseases and to make water bodies safe for recreational and other uses.

Feedback Mechanism
