6 Million GPD Food and Beverage Water Treatment System with Zero Wastewater

Commissioning and operations have been completed for the initial phase of a 6 million gallon per day (MGD) AMI water treatment system. The engineered water treatment system operates to produce 6 MGD of product water with zero wastewater conveyed to drain (Zero Liquid Discharge - ZLD). The proprietary Applied Membranes process used for the F&B application utilizes Nanofiltration (NF), Brackish water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO), Ion Exchange (IX) resin and Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO).

Applied Membranes provides engineering design services for upgrading existing industrial facilities as well as engineered solutions for new applications. The combined engineering and manufacturing services results in expedited installation, commissioning and operation of the water treatment solutions.
