Turnkey Water Treatment Reclaim System for Wastewater in a Food Processing Plant

Turnkey ultrafiltration water treatment system to treat effluent water with intermittent oil content for reuse. The 1,200 gpm Ultrafiltration (UF) system uses specialty membranes which are resistant to oily water fouling. The system is installed in two 40ft industrial grade insulated containers and features automatic operation with PLC and touchscreen interface.

The UF system removes micro-organisms and turbidity before being recycled to the process loop.

The membranes are backwashed using a Chemical-enhanced backwash system

Applied Membranes was responsible for removal of existing system and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of the complete plant. The plant was commissioned and operated initially by AMI engineers.
