Sistemas de ósmosis inversa de bajo consumo energético de la serie XL
Diseñados para producir agua con bajo contenido de sólidos disueltos a partir de agua del grifo o de pozo, estos pequeños sistemas comerciales de ósmosis inversa de bajo consumo energético utilizan membranas de ósmosis inversa XLE de energía extra baja que funcionan a 100–140 psi.
El agua del producto es ideal para aplicaciones como enjuague sin manchas, depósitos de agua, sistemas para toda la casa, laboratorios, máquinas para fabricar hielo, humidificación, nebulización y más.
Como parte de la familia de la serie L (junto con las series L y HL), estos sistemas completos de ósmosis inversa son los más adecuados para agua de alimentación con menos de 1000 PPM de sólidos disueltos totales (TDS).
Los sistemas utilizan componentes probados y fiables, montados sobre una robusta estructura metálica con recubrimiento en polvo. Notas y voltaje/Información de pedidos

- Sistemas con temperatura nominal de 25 °C (77 °F) que utilizan una solución de cloruro de sodio de 1000 ppm y operan a una presión aproximada de 200 psi. La capacidad del sistema varía significativamente con la temperatura del agua. Para obtener mayores valores de TDS, se requiere un análisis de agua, lo que podría requerir modificaciones en el sistema o el cambio de un sistema de la serie XL a uno de la serie L o HL.
- Presión mínima de alimentación al sistema de ósmosis inversa: 40-60 PSI.
- El cloro debe eliminarse con un filtro de carbón o con inyección química antes del sistema de ósmosis inversa, si está presente en el agua de alimentación.
- Se debe añadir un pretratamiento para la dureza del agua utilizando un suavizante para evitar la formación de incrustaciones en las membranas.
- Turbidez del agua de alimentación: Inferior a 1 NTU; Índice de densidad de sedimentos (IDS) del agua de alimentación: Máximo 3. Si se excede, se recomienda pretratar con un filtro de medios. Todos los equipos de pretratamiento y kits de prueba de IDS están disponibles en Applied Membranes.

Softeners & Media Filtration Pre/Post Treatment
AMI Media filters feature fully automatic backwash or regeneration for easy, trouble free maintenance. Ensure superior system operation and extended membrane life by providing proper pretreatment to the incoming feed water on a continuous basis. Common pretreatment or post-treatment methods include:
- Single or Twin Water Softener to remove hardness and scale.
- Multi-Media Filter for sediment filtration to approximately 10 microns.
- Carbon Filter to remove chlorine.
- Calcite Filter to neutralize the pH of the RO product water.

Chemical Injection System
Antiscalant injection as an alternative to a water softener for scale control, or
Sodium Metabisulfite injection as an alternative to a carbon filter to remove chlorine.
Water Quality Monitors
Pre-packaged wall-mountable water quality monitoring controls allow you to monitor the quality of the incoming feed or RO product water. Assembly includes the monitor, enclosure and sensor.

To automatically turn the RO system on or off with the permeate storage tank level. For use with a pressurized storage tank (sold separately).
