Lithium Recovery

As global demand for lithium increases, efficient and sustainable lithium extraction is critical.  Traditional solar evaporation methods require up to two years for lithium production, with recovery rates typically between 30%–50%.
 
In contrast, Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) combined with AMI advanced membrane systems revolutionizes this process by enabling more efficient brine processing and concentration.
 
In DLE, lithium is extracted from brine and concentrated into a lithium chloride (LiCl) solution.  The AMI Lithium RO system removes water from the LiCl stream, significantly enhancing process efficiency while maximizing water recovery.  
 
The AMI-LIRO™ system concentrates Lithium to high levels to make the final step of DLE more efficient.
